    1. The story ended as abruptly as it started I understand it s a short story but it did nothing for me There were a few typos in the book which I could have overlooked had the book been worth a read Unfortunately, it was not I understand it falls under the cozy mystery category but it failed to be humorous or a fun read The mystery was not well thought out and it lacked depth.

    2. No depth of character with the main character who is portrayed as a pushy female I felt let down by the author as i read the story and suddenly found I was at the end without a twist in the plot, so disappointed.

    3. Wonderful storyI loved this version of a mystery dealing with another culture, and was quite surprised to find who done it.

    4. Charming, fast readThis was a lot of fun, causing me to crave an Indian meal I have never eaten Buttery Chicken and I had to wonder what it was like.My only issue, perhaps unique to me, is that most of the characters have names, first and or last, beginning with an S.I am a sight reader and see words as blocks, and being confused by which character is indicated can bring me to a confused stall.I look forward to , perhaps longer adventures of Sharma This book was so short there was no opportunity [...]

    5. Notified of this read via email advertising Definitely a quick read as it is a short story Never read any of C.T Mitchell s books The story line was good but quick and read like a young adult story Pretty simplistic His writing style basically cutting to the chase Not much else to sayte book Would I read another of his writings probably yes, especially if I was held up somewhere and wanted to stay occupiedke a layover at an airport or enjoying my own company at a breakfast table.

    6. Poisoning is not random It s a private affair and in the murder s case it was very, very personal , says Selena She tends to upset Detective Stewart because among her other talents Selena has somewhat of a knack for solving crimes She puts this knack to use during the charity fete Reading about butter chicken, tandoori chicken, and vegetable samoses made me very hungry I recommend this book as long as you eat first.

    7. A wonderful first entry in a new mystery series.Fast paced, the story draws the reader in and treats them to a great story A very good way to start a series and I hope to see many of them.

    8. The very definition of cozy Such sweet characters, delightful story even though it s a murder mystery I only wish it was a bit longer I wanted to know what happened with Selena s friend after the murderer was caught And I was hoping for the Butter Chicken recipe
